Folded tray signs can be produced from aluminium composite material (sometimes known as Dibond or ACM) which is lightweight and cost effective. They can also be produced from 2.5mm thick aluminium with welded corners for a stronger but heavier and more expensive sign. Folding the material makes the sign much more rigid and enables it to be fixed through the return edge for a clean appearance with no fixings through the face of the sign.
